Two Artisan Soaps Lotions are made with essential oil, and this Lavender Shea Butter and Aloe Lotion is one of them.

Lavender essential oil, Valerie Ann Worwood* writes, "is a natural antibiotic, antiseptic, anti-depressant, sedative and de-toxifier which promotes healing and prevents scarring, and also stimulates the immune system and contributes to the healing process by stimulating the cels of a wound to regenerate more quickly."

Combine these healing qualities of Lavender Essential Oil with the moisturizing and healing qualities of Shea Butter and Aloe, and you have a nourishing and relaxing lotion for the end of the day.
